Fat Cat caterpillar is a beautiful storybook musical production by children’s book author Ja’Nia Harden and features original music from The Harden Project and choreography from Randolph Ward.

About the Author & Storyteller
Born on the 1st Day of Spring, Ja’Nia Harden is a native of South Florida. The daughter to retired Educator Barbara Pace and retired popular Jazz Disc Jockey and MC to Jazz elite Len Pace of WLRN and Co- Founder of the Sunshine Jazz association, Music was a strong influence on how she wanted to live her life as a professional musician, performer, composer, arranger, artist, and children’s book author. Ja’Nia graduated from Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Music Education emphasis in Voice. Immediately after graduation day she hopped on a European Gospel and Jazz tour and never stopped. She has since had the pleasure to become a music educator with Broward County Public Schools, a wife to musician John Harden, and mother of three all while still performing professionally opening up for the likes of Laylah Hathaway, composing and arranging for musicals and performing all over South Florida with her group The Harden Project.
Fat Cat Caterpillar was inspired by her desire to add to cultural tradition through telling stories that not only added educational value but life lessons like the Anansi Fables and folklore or Fairytales of old.
